Dental implants
Replace the root,
not just the tooth.
Implants planned with CBCT 3D imaging and placed with printed surgical guides — so the position is decided before the appointment, not during it.
The problem
A missing tooth is not only a gap.
When a tooth goes, the bone underneath it starts to shrink, neighbouring teeth drift, and the bite you have relied on for decades quietly changes. An implant is the only option that replaces the root as well as the crown — which is why it is the one that stops the drift.

Treatment overview
What an implant actually is.
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone where the root of your tooth used to be. Over a few months the bone grows onto it — a process called osseointegration — and it becomes a stable foundation. A custom crown is then attached on top.
Because the post is anchored in bone rather than clipped to neighbouring teeth, an implant does not require cutting down healthy teeth the way a bridge does, and it preserves the bone volume in that part of your jaw. Implants can replace a single tooth, several teeth, or anchor a full arch.
Who it is for
Is this right for you?
- You are missing one or more teeth, or have a tooth that cannot be saved
- You would rather not cut down healthy neighbouring teeth for a bridge
- Your denture moves, clicks or limits what you eat
- You have enough bone, or are open to grafting to build it
- Your gums are healthy and you do not smoke heavily
Technology used
How we plan it.
- CBCT 3D imaging to measure bone volume, nerve position and sinus anatomy
- Intraoral digital scanning — no impression putty
- Digital implant planning: the position is decided on screen first
- 3D-printed surgical guides so placement matches the plan
- Digitally designed, ceramic final crowns

Questions
Dental implants, answered.
Most single implants run three to six months from placement to final crown, because the bone needs time to integrate with the post. The appointments themselves are short — most of that timeline is healing. If grafting is needed first, add a few months.
The placement itself is done under local anesthetic and most patients describe it as easier than an extraction. Soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and usually managed with over-the-counter pain relief.
With good hygiene and regular check-ups, the implant post itself is designed to last decades. The crown on top is subject to normal wear and may need replacing at some point, much like any other restoration.
That is common, especially if the tooth has been missing for years. Bone grafting can rebuild the site, and a CBCT scan tells us exactly how much is needed — which is why we scan before promising anything.
Coverage varies widely. Some plans contribute, some exclude implants entirely but will cover part of the crown. We verify your specific benefits and give you the out-of-pocket number in writing before you commit.
