A cone beam scan uses a low dose of ionising radiation — more than a standard dental X-ray, far less than a medical CT. We only take one when the extra information will change your treatment, and we will explain why before we do.
Rarely. Digital scanning replaces conventional impressions for most crowns, bridges, aligners and appliances. A few specific cases still call for a traditional impression, and we will tell you if yours is one of them.
No. We print surgical guides, models and temporary restorations. Definitive crowns, bridges and veneers are made from ceramic and porcelain materials chosen for strength and appearance.
Yes. Chairside screens are standard here. Dr. Phillips reviews your images with you, points out what he is seeing and explains the options before any plan is agreed.
